Swatch Display Box
Our new custom splined display box has one small rectangle of each wood/finish offered! Perfect for quickly selecting a wood and finish.
Quarter-sawn and Rift White Oak
The popularity of white oak moulding continues to grow and, in keeping, so do the number of profiles and finishes offered in this beautiful wood. Whitewash on white oak is the newest finish. This wood is available in many square caps and float frames, which showcase the unique quarter-sawn or rift grain on the face.
Classic Splined and Specialty Splined Frames
Splined corner frames were a natural progression for our joining services, given the exceptional level of quality we produce. Splines can be any of our five woods. Classic Splines have the same finish applied to both the spline and the base frame (shown left). Specialty Splines are an upgraded service with specific options that offer a different finish on the spline than on the base frame (shown center and right).
Crossroads Black and Crossroads White on Maple
This uniquely modern look showcases a two-toned finish, with pristine, opaque white or satin black on the face and natural maple with clear lacquer on the side. Crossroads White and Crossroads Black on Maple is available in select square cap mouldings: 401, 404, 500, 501, 538, 584, 600, 601, 801, 901, 903.
Matte Lacquer
Our Matte Lacquer is perfect for a sanded-only look with a added layer of protection against fingerprints and dust. This subtle, clear finish is low sheen and available on all woods: ash, cherry, maple, walnut, and quartered or rift white oak.
Lip Liners and Fillets
Made to sit above the glass, Lip Liners provide a contrasting border that pulls the eye toward the artwork, making a subtle and elegant accent. To create the look of a wider face, add a Lip Liner in the same wood and finish as the outer frame.
Fillets can be used inside a mat opening or under the moulding lip for an eye-catching accent.
City Grey & Country Grey on Maple
City Grey and Country Grey finishes on Maple are a little bit country and a little bit rock-n-roll, for a rustic look that you can still take uptown.
Umbra
The Umbra line is uniquely crafted from solid wood to have a maple face and a contrasting side of either walnut or cherry. These combinations are available in profile numbers 561, 660, and 661, which are dimensionally the same as 501, 600, and 601 respectively. Umbra mouldings are available with seven hand-finished wood/finishes, and some splined options.
Strainers
Our strainers are milled from poplar, a strong and stable wood. Available as length and chop, with options for straight cut, mitered, dovetail-routed, joined, and drilled for pocket screws using the Kreg® pocket hole system.
